For the past several years, Raymond Kimsey (Owner of PCS) has been grateful to be able to be in a position of service for our community. Alongside him, friends and family would gather in downtown Macon on the week of Thanksgiving and place food in the hands of those who would reach for it.
It was a humbling experience to see the thankfulness on the faces of so many and it gave him a sense of peace in knowing, that at least for the next night or two, that person would be fed. His commitment to helping others was driven by empathy and pure compassion, Yet, as the food became scarce and he handed out the last few meals, he realized there were more hands reaching and just simply not enough to give.
So, with utmost humility, he is determined to change the course this year and extends a heartfelt call to action for the community, emphasizing the pressing need for collective support.
Along with Raymond, Ian Payne (Co-owner) and the rest of the PCS-Premier Construction Solutions’ staff, PCS is taking the lead in kickstarting the food drive by donating 50 Hams, 50 Loaves of bread, and volunteering to meet downtown to deliver the food.
Here is how you can join hands with PCS and, “Gather to Give.”
